Willys Fire Truck

I went to Alaska and ran into a fire truck version of a Willy’s Jeep. Unfortunately it didn’t have any signage and I’m lacking in Jeep knowledge, so I don’t know much about it but it sure is cool! I love the rpm gauge on the grill for the pump!

Cool little flat fender!

I believe they were mostly Brushfire rigs to try to deal with spotfires. The racks were for the hard suction lines that draw water from lake/river. Used right, they could get enough water in.the right place to knock down a lot of stuff
