Need to snap some better photos in the daylight, but was able to get the mirrors painted and installed!

you may also notice the wiper motor cover I made using stacks of styrene

I also made a license plate mount, and attached the box from the previous post. Not sure if how long it’ll stay, but we’ll see

Finally got this thing out for its maiden voyage this weekend! Love how the vs4 preformed, and was a huge fan of swapping between 2wd and the overdrive. However, I do think i want to swap the shift servo over to the dig side now and see which I like more. Definitely need better solution to power this thing, but I’m thrilled at how smooth it rolls!

As suspected, My side mirrors didn’t last very long… I may use some rubber rc4wd mirrors as replacements

End of summer update! I haven’t been active much on here, but that doesn’t mean I haven’t been out enjoying the vs4-10. I have put this thing through some serious abuse and it’s worked flawlessly the whole time!

I also spent some time over the summer building a little off road trailer. More so to test my brazing abilities and because trailers are fun haha.

I need to take some more photos of the trailer when I have this thing out next, but this truck has been so much fun. Anyone on the fence about getting a vs4, I’d highly suggest it!

Another small update. I’ve really loved tinkering with this thing over the summer and have been dialing it in more after each outing. Last time I took it out I noted how much I didn’t like the battery shifting around in the huge battery tray, so I made my own out of styrene.

Much more secure fit for the little shorty packs!
