Is this fools gold or nice?

I was thinking fusion pro. 12.8 to 13.5" wheelbase. Something in a full size truck. But if it's a garbage brand it would suck. Whole truck would be a dud.

For the most part KYX are decent. Not Great, not shit. I have a few things of theirs on my AXE, and seems a set of rims I think. No issues with anything yet. Seems to be decently made and of better than normal ChyNa meh quality.

That said, These trannys are sold under other names so who the actual Manufacturer is may be up for debate.

But overall, its probably not junk. Probably. heh.

Probably not junk. Well... I'm sold. After my 4 speed truck I'm meaning toward this for a build. Looks really cool. Hopefully the gears are legit.

It looks like you have to completely redesign the steering too. But it's very tempting. Haven't seen one running though.

I'm here...
Not everyone is super concerned about weight or where it is in your rig, but that would be one of my questions. Seems to me like a lot of unnecessary mass to haul around that may not ever be seen. I'd pass, but that's just my opinion...

I tend to agree - it would look great in a partial chassis build for display, but once you've built (and painted) the rest of the truck around it, it's kind of going to be lost - and I'm sure there are more simple and lighter-weight transmissions out there if performance is your primary goal?

Right now I'm just sort of looking at all the parts I haven't tried before and making builds for them. Im ok with really heavy trucks. I like machined parts and putting together puzzles. I'll do one performance truck out of very 10 builds. But I also like to over power them. And it sucks when the gears can't handle it.

Newbie but not really new
that look to me way higher and longer than the vintage tamiya 3 speed motor-gearbox with a big 750 brushed
i'm curious to know the dimensions

If it doesn't impact your life (at $118), I say go for it. It might be a bargain. If not, you may be able to let folks know what's needed to make it great. If it's absolutely horrible, you'll make the world a better place by warning others.

I think it's a win-win.

I think it may possibly use SCX10.3 internals. I think I'm leaning toward getting it. It does look cool.

I just got my 2 speed Injora set up. Was expecting it to have a frame.. but it's fine. Once I build that one. I'm looking at either doing this one or possibly a straight basher. I think the internals are made the same as Injora. Out of decent black oxide steel.
