I'm about to paint my first Lexan body in a long time, and my color scheme calls for a matte black hood. This is fine with a hardbody but I feel the Lexan will put a shine on any paint that is applied from the underside. Do I shoot the inside area of the hood with a flat clear first, then black...or, should I consider painting the outside of the hood flat/semi-gloss /satin black?
What prep is involved in that process?
thanks!
