    Default WORK TRUCK BUILD-OFF WINNERS!

My deepest apologies for the extremely tardy results.

Things in the world have been, uh, strange. So please forgive me!

But here they are, in all their glory.

In 3rd Place with an average score of 203.67/250:

    Nuge with with FC!

Congrats, you win a $50 Gift Card from Amain Hobbies!

In 2nd Place with an average score of 215/250:

    Fourth Protocol with his FJ28VA!

Congrats, you win a $75 Gift Card from Amain Hobbies!

And finally, 1st place, with an average score of 219/250:

    Daggaba with his M-B Axor!

Congrats, you win a Axial SCX24 (as soon as they're back in stock)!

I'd like to thank everyone for participating, and our judges for their time. This was an amazing build-off and I'm thrilled by the results. You guys have once again shown why the SBG is the best place on the internet for tiny trucks. My hat goes off to you all.

Winners, please PM me and we can work out the details of getting your prizes to you. If AMain isn't a place you normally frequent, I'm sure we can work out alternate arrangements.

So, who's got a good idea for the next build-off?

Congratulations to everyone who entered, it was a blast seeing all the different ideas take shape with a great range of skills on display and many thanks to SBG, the judges and AMain Hobbies for hosting the build off. This a great honour, thank you very much! Awesome builds Daggaba and Fourth Protocol, phenomenal skills and well deserved!

Next build off hmm... concept vehicles that never made it into production, famous rigs from a favorite TV show/movie

Amazing! Very, very chuffed and a bit surprised!

Nuge- absolutely loved your FC, especially the hilarious video...

Fourth- your FJ is a work of art, absolutely beautiful!

Thanks to everyone for all the encouragement along the way and for being so sharing with all your amazing skill sets.

Thanks to the judges, Amain, Axial, SBG- Matt, hope things are getting a bit less crazy for you, very strange times but maybe the tide is turning?

Next build off... Caravans/Trailers? Tractors? Pre 1910/1920/19etc...?

Congratulations to the winners. Some fine builds.

Next contest should be "Unfinished Builds, the Rest of the Story".

We need 2 yrs to complete them. It has to start from something that has been on the bench at least 6mos. There are no rules. And there are no prizes. The object of this contest is for all the other members to encourage the builders with kind words, bad jokes and heckleing!
If you build it, We will watch!

I am glad I wasn't judging these... all the entrants did a top-notch job.

Will be looking forward to the next build off topic.

Matt: Will you be doing a quick video on the YouTubes of the builds (I guess it'd have to be a slideshow of sorts)? It'd be a great way to point that audience to the level of building that is going on here.

That's a great idea Tim, and I'll certainly consider it. Definitely a good way to build some interest! Thanks for the suggestion.
