Seems kinda mean to make someone using the phone stand out in the rain, and risk falling off your porch. Though that payphone looks great from what i remember!
Well great now you're probably gonna need a trashcan somewhere around that drink machine.

Have you tried the Malotow chrome paint pens yet? The phone looked clean enough it probably still has good chrome.

I ended up moving the soda machine inside the store area.
I too remember always having emergency change in the pocket or vehicles to use in pay phones. Keep the parents informed of my ware abouts and doings ...heheheheee "getting old I guess".

I have tried the paint pens. mostly in my model car days.
I have HVAC tape and was planning on using it(chrome), but as this will be throwed out side in the elements and probably just passed by driving tiny trucks..I opted to just paint.
Probably almost done working on this structure. Needs removable roofs made and a few little details added on out side of It.
But ya, Thinking almost good enough to move on with the next build.

We all have to start somewhere if we want a back yard trail of sorts.
It's nice to be able to just step out side and just drive em.

Hope to have two large loads of dirt brought in before spring, possibly three, mad money pending
The table saw order was a never happening thing, had to cancel order...ugh.
But once I get back to ordering one, Plans are to maybe build some more simple structures. Thinking mining ghost town of sorts and go from their.

Back yard is still currently under snow, even the trails under the huge pine trees.
Working 7 days a week at the moment. Hence my disappearance from the tiny truck scene.
I am a propane Delivery driver. And the South East Idaho weather this year is just crazy.
Sucks to work .....but fun to spend on tiny trucks.

I too am soooooo loooooking forward to get back out and play with rocks and dirt.
Let alone some bench time on building some more structures.
Winter can't last to much longer. Hope to be back at it shortly my friends.
