    Default Grease- axle, diff, gearbox

Hi all. First, sorry if this thread is in the wrong place...

So- I've been rebuilding the SMT1O and realise I'm seriously low on grease. Up until now I've been using leftovers from kits basically...

I have read many threads on this in various places but there are a lot of products (like anything Vanquish) unavailable in the UK- and lockdown is generally restricting shopping.

Brands I can order online in the UK- RC4WD, Traxxas, Tamiya and Associated. So my current plan is to get some fresh Tamiya AW grease for inside diffs (just a little...) and a big tube of Traxxas Marine Grease for ring/pinion and gearbox. Any other suggestions? Rc4wd has a few different colours I don't yet understand, Associated also has lots of different products- I will pick up some Green Slime for shocks, guessing Associated shock oil is fine to use too? (As shock oil, not in the gearbox!!)

    Thanks all!!!!

I use plain white lithium grease in my builds. Bought in bulk at my hardware store.

I use synthetic multi purpose grease. A couple squirts from my grease gun into a resealable container is enough for lots of trucks. The price is right and it’s available everywhere.
