Thread: Styrene size

    Default Styrene size

I would like to build a rear cage for a half cab body I bought for my honcho. The new body sits about an inch further forward so the rear cage now sits too far forward and I don't want to cut the rear of the chassis off to make it look right. What size styrene rod would I use?

I would recommend styrene for a cage. It just won't hold up in any sort of roll. Headquake, back in the day would use a plastic coat hanger for a plastic cage. Maybe try that?

Have a look at Joe22's builds, Fourth Protocol, Wesmade, and many more. Guild's Finest area makes great reading/research.
