Rocks are usually a good start.

Could you please start posting in the proper places? I've moved three threads now for you.

In my experience dirt works wonders.
Basic teraforming with some river rocks & concrete. Limbs from yours & your nabors yards should get you started.

I'm at the same point with my back yard course.
Check out landscape supply places, most have a discount area for large rocks.
Recycle. I've got a pile of rock from various places in my yard. Also wood from a fence that will be cut down.
YouTube videos will get you good inspiration, as will posts on here.

Some of the early G-6 events had a tire pit. Dis-carded RC tires covered with shaving cream, more difficult to get thru than you would think...and it smelled good.
