Default 1967 Ford Bronco Half Cab Scratch Build

Love the recessed FORD emblem in the tailgate. What a great idea and excellently executed.

Thanks Guy for the comments! I probably did this so bass-ackwards....While I thought the Austar - SCX10.2 "lookalike" chassis I picked up for $93 was the best way to go for the Bronco build, nothing about it worked out. Due to the 9.5" wb I should have went 1/18 scale crawler and made it work, I am sure axles would have been the most appropriate fit. I wound up shortening the frame rails 3", shortened driveshafts, I narrowed the rear axle 1 1/8" and front by 3/4", shortened all links and relocated the motor/trans so I could get an interior in it and changed to rear cantilever shocks. Now I finally have a roller!!! Now back to the body work!IMG_4517.jpgIMG_4513.jpgIMG_4510.jpgs-l640.jpgIMG_4509.jpgIMG_4516.jpgIMG_4518.jpg

Bronco received some color, a Ford code of course! Ford pearl midnight blue metallic, 8P4. Will let sit for a few days before color sanding and buff out.IMG_4527.jpgIMG_4538.jpgIMG_4531.jpgIMG_4530.jpgIMG_4524.jpg

Awesome color indeed. And awesome build - trucks have a character and you always capture it really well I've wanted one forever.

I had my doubts for a bit Michael, but once the colors went on it turned out very close to how I imagined. Thank you!
