    Default Painting Help

I need some help in painting a Polycarbonate body in a US Army Green Tamiya AS-9. How can I do this? Or what PS Green should I use and what backing colour?

Assuming you want a flat finish, you can paint the outside with PS-55 Matte Clear, then spray the AS-9 over that. You can actually use any color, instead of the flat clear, like silver, black, white, etc, but they can change the tint of the color your using. You could also use Tamiya Metallic Copper on the inside to simulate rust when the outside gets scratched. Silver can also be used to do the same thing but it would reveal a raw metal color instead.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply, the copper/ rust effect will work great as I am looking for that older weathered look .
