    Default Wannabe VS4-10

Vs4-10 Pro would be nice but after freights, taxes etc. it's way too expensive here in Finland. Vanquish published also vs4-10 chassis kit so I decided to order it and now I start to build some kind of "wannabe vs4-10"

I haven't decided what axles, transmission, wheels etc. I will use, but we will build this again with my son so I need to talk with him. I will not buy new parts, I will use axles from our Scx10 (vanquish or boom racing). Same thing with transmission, wheels, electrics...

But let's start this project with another project. I have been thinking about scale garage for a while so now it was good time to start. This way I can take better building pics (no kitchen pics anymore )

So here we are at this moment. (Blazer is my son's Scx10.2)

Sub'd and following along! Looking forward to seeing the direction you take with the VP Chassis Kit.

Thanks Brian. Almost there, floor done, tile wall done (door missing), testing lights.

And few pics of vs4-10 chassis. Nice quality and finish.

Chassis kit is ready. Very easy to build, good instructions etc. Panhard and steering link are included, other links will be taken from Scx10.2.

Garage is also ready, of course I will add some small details. I will keep this simple and easy to move because our apartment is quite small.

    And here is overall look.

And axleswap. We bought Rock Jocks to my son's Chevy few weeks ago. Now I stole axles to this one

My son is not home during this week so I decided to make surprise to him. Hopefully all is ready on Sunday when he comes back to home.

I decided to use Killerbody LC70 body in this build.

I bobbed and cutted the bed:

And wannabe vs4-10 is ready for a test ride. Let's see if this is the final body. It might be that we will change it to lighter one (=lexan) :
