Default 1984 Toyota 4Runner Once Again

Thank you RC4WD for making a hard body first gen 4Runner! I've already built a thousand 4Runners so you'd think I'd be bored of them. NOPE! I love them! And if I don't have to build the body myself even better!

This was the last one I made: http://scalebuildersguild.com/forum/...Toyota-4Runner It was a replica of my real 4Runner. I'm going to do the same but build the truck it was before I owned it and ruined with a cruddy green spray paint job and roll on bed liner. To be honest I wasn't the first person to ruin the paint. The previous owner painted it bright red over the original Wine Red OEM paint. So, that's what I'm going to model. Factory paint and slightly rusty.

I guess this is like a Star War in which I made the later one first and the first one later?

Mine was a base model so no SR5 goodies like an inclinometer, rear seat or carpeted floors. But maybe I'll put the rear seat in anyway.

Enough about words lets make pictures.

There is A LOT to this body. Opening everything and a full detailed interior.

Kitty included but assembly is required.

Now the body is pretty accurate and it's definitely a 4Runner but for the enthusiasts of detail such as myself there are a few things I'd like to correct. It's just my nature. Sorry.

Starting with filling this in. It'll be sanded smooth then a strip of styrene will be glued in to give it the correct effect.

I'll be throwing this beautiful new body on my super abused Marlin Crawler TF2. Tons of life left in her though. What a great platform.

    Yasss.

Yoda is a Star War. I'm pretty sure he created Toyota's. So Star War is life.

Without Yoda there would be no Yotas.

@pardonmyn00b It's hard for me to tell in the picture: what is going to be sanded smooth?
