    May be :D

    Last parts of the axles

    Leavespring-flange

    Portal covers

    Locking mechanism

    Overview

Aaaaaand now, after the second part of this build, a little clip to see how this rig works

Meanwhile some other testdrives happens and the axles are working very well. The roughly estimated transmission fits. Some test in medium rough terrain shows adequat crawling skills.

Pretty funny is the behaviour of the hydraulic steering. With the stick you can handle the direction and the speed of the movement, not as usual the servo-position.
Automatic return to neutral? None :)

Additionally the strange geometry from the articulated steering.

All together it's a lot of fun to drive.

    -----------

Two-thirds of my dream became true.
The last third will be the body.
    Naturally a metal body.

    Thanks guys.

This little project seems a bit unattractive for this forum.
Therefore I won't boring you futhermore with many text or detailed pics about the bodywork.
Just have a look to the actual state of progress.

A little step for the build, a big for my experiences.
My first sheet metal stretching and shrinking orgy is done.

Drivers seat gets his shape. Due to a small layer of epoxy inside it will be strong enough for the ride over roots and stones.
