Default JS Scale Range Rover Classic with a touch of n00b

I'm very grateful to have received my JS Scale injection molded Range Rover Classic body that was just released. I don't know exactly what I'm going to do yet but let's get started by assembling the body.

    There are some parts...

    And some tiny screws...

    Chromed parts

    More parts and a screwdriver!

Oh yeah, the doors, hood and tailgate open! Now, as you may know, this is a model more geared towards scale enthusiasts so the hinges and hardware is a bit more delicate than your average one piece RC body. The actual body panels though are very robust.

I had thoughts of putting this on my Vanquish VS410. It would take a fair bit of doing to get it to work though. I might use an SCX10 or my BOM instead.

    Can't wait for this one.
Are you planning on removing any of the internal structure, or is any of it in the way for scale interior?

The structure on the sides should hide easily with door cards and such. The roof supports might get removed. Once I get a final plan I'll MEK everything and probably remove some screws and supports.

Triple-cab with a bed on a 6x6. Would definitely be a world first and even if it'd cause Sirs Range and Rover to roll over in their graves it'd be a world first. In both meat- and scale-space.

    Do it
