Default Anyone ordered a body from JS Scale?

Hi guys, has anyone ordered a body kit from JS Scale in France? Just wondering if there are import duties collected when shipped to the US and how much. Iím researching possible hard bodies for an SCX10-2 build, and really like the new Range Rover classic body.

If youíre in the US you wonít have to pay a duty. I donít know the specifics but Iíve never had to pay a tax on any RC item Iíve bought from any country.

Great, thank you! Just wasn’t sure about something this expensive and relatively large. I’ve only bought small things under $15.

If you're Canadian, you pay duty on everything! Huzzah!

Hmm, well looks like shipping to my zip code is $45, so it would be almost $200 total. maybe a bit more than I want to spend on my first hardbody that I quite possibly will screw up, lol. It’s pretty sweet though, maybe eventually. Thanks for the replies, guys.

That Range Rover classic body is so worth $200 in my opinion.

Considering I spent nearly double that for a resin cast five years ago, yeah.

In the expert hands here, I donít doubt it. But with my noob skills...

I still havenít ruled it out though, because I also just realized that if I were to go with an LC70 body, I might end up spending as much or more if I add some of the custom items that Iíd want to go with it.

I don't see how you will mess it up. The body looks to be ready to go in terms of not needing modification. Painting is mainly about taking your time. Theres plenty of info on here, or youtube, on how to prep an ABS body before paint. Use good quality primer/paint, and many light coats over a few days, and you'll be happy with yourself.
