Thanks! Yeah, it's great when off cuts from other things line up perfectly!

I've been working on the front bumper-

    First layered some styrene sheets:

    Glued together:

Filed it all down nicely but it's ended up sticking out too far so I chopped it in 2! Woop, got a rear bumper for free!

Chopped off the old bumper fixing points:

Glued on a final front and top piece to make a nice smooth finish:

Smoothed off and rounded the lower edge and it's lining up quite nicely:

Gave the rear the same treatment with outer fascias on the stacked styrene and bent it a little to fit round the back snuggly:

Then chopped off the og bumper mounts and tapped a couple of threads into the bumper from the inside, still needs a little tidying up but the fit is pretty good:

Have also been filling unneeded holes:

Next project is the bull bar, I could really do with a dry day to get some primer on too!

NICE WORK!!! Glad to see that I'm not the only Tamiya NUT on here! I have been aching to try something with the Lunchbox Body. This is Fantastic!!!
How does the Wheelbase line up with the M-Chassis? Oh WAIT! The Lowrider Pumpkin answered that one!!

I've been considering something really Silly.... A Lunchie Body on a M05 FWD Chassis! I just find the Front Wheel Drive Tamiyas such a pleasure to drive. Although seeing your top heavy M06 get around, will be pure entertainment!!

    Thanks both!!

Nothing much to show right now sadly, I'm just at the sand/prime stage and the weather's so bad there are limited opportunities for priming, hope to get some colour on soon though then get some more pics!

Thanks guys, I have managed to get a bit of paint on though it's a struggle with the British weather atm.

Found this awesome metallic black from Tamiya:

And here's the little one getting stuck in detailing lights:

He's crazy excited about the moment we get the red stripe on, here's hoping for warm dry days so we get there soon!
