    This is a great build! Thanks. Surprised that the MDF was not to heavy. This has inspired me to make a wood body. There is some nice wood that ATA flight cases are made from. Hexagrip is a laminated wood that has a coating which protects from precipitation! (my big word of the day). It is High Quality Birch with Black Hex Pattern. There is a texture on one side the other is smooth. It is a phenolic coating. Just the idea of using wood has endless opportunities. Below is the link. if you want to check it out. Cheers!

    Been meaning to do this for ages. I designed and printed a mini version of a Beacon Ray light for the roof many months ago but never actually painted it or installed it. Then today I got the urge to do it. Build is officially done!
