    Thanks "lux"

Wide awake at 2:30 am this morning...I'm ready to go get it.
Here is one I did a few years back....
I didn't even get off the street when I took it to a local car show before mauled by an old guy.
He gave me an offer I couldn't turn down for it.. "should of kept it...duh"

I managed to pull parts yesterday morning and wake the neighbors before having to do the grind.
Body is ready to be separated from it's chassis.

I also have a Complete Air bag system ordered and on it's way..

I also scored a 1966 SWB chevy stepside parts truck for the missing numerous chassis parts... it's actually sitting on a 1961 chassis and was ridiculously cheap because of no title. Score...

Lots of work coming up to make it right and safe to drive. But I'm excited about the build.
    Stay tuned...more soon.

Quite the undertaking! Looks like a fun project. You'll have to build its scale counterpart while your at it.

    Thanks JunkGTZ
Should go pretty quickly for a build once I get a few parts rounded up. I try and do at least one 1:1 hot rod/classic every year.

Also..I have built a version pretty close already in 1/10..
A friend still has the burb here locally.

Wow, that is a great project. Nice score! Can't wait to see how it turns out.

And I'm with you on the title thing. Drives me nuts when looking thru Craigslist ads: "no title but have all the paperwork." Then stop being lazy and go get a title, THEN sell it! If you don't have a title, all you have is a pile of car parts that happen to be assembled.

    No title..I usaually run away..ahahaha
    I did buy the donor 1966 pickup..actually a 1966 cab sitting on a complete 1961 SWB chassis..no title..
It was a complete mess but I needed all the little hard to source parts off it for panel.
I stripped the pickup down to chassis..
A huge mess now out in front yard.

Lets see... been crazy busy no doubts. Hay fencing and etc with life.
I traded the bagger chassis for a complete newer running 1964 327 ci engine.
Scored a 3 speed with over drive..Cleaned up and painted now...ready to be mated with block.
    New 12 inch clutch..hehehee
I started sand blasting and wire wheeling another all original 1960 SWB chassis From my very first pickup.
Baby moon's and beauty rings should land anytime for my stock steel 15" wheels ..
With the holiday weekend here..3 days.. I hope to finish cleaning up chassis ..get it painted and have the motor and trans set in
    their final resting place...
Tons of work...ugh but I'm enjoying the little time I get to work on it.
I'll snap pics this weekend of progress...
    Thanks again ….more soon.
