You had not mentioned... What Scale??? I went back and read entire Thread, in amazement, but could not find even a hint.
Or is Scale irrelevant in such Art? 1:7th? 1:6th? Must be somewhere around there!
I must tell you, that is the first time I've ever seen AR60 Axles look small!! And the ONLY time I've seen enough weight, to make Leaf Springs work the way they were designed.

You were right. It is 1/7 th scale.
I love ar60 very much, so when i build another truck it will be on the same axles or chassis.

Leafs work pretty nice with its weight. It has about 40% sag, and work through all the travel during articulation but dont hit the frame. Surely will play with more leafs or another mount for them. For now the frame has only two option :
Working as on the pic above
Working like it doesn't hit the frame if i drop it from 30cm height with the same leafs.

Lots of fun building this one.

You've Certainly got enough weight, to justify Leaf Springs!!
I don't know if you've considered this... But Shocks were briefly mentioned before. With the sheer SIZE of this Beast, using Axial YETI Rear Shocks - without the Springs, on all four corners of the Truck, should give you ample Damping...
And in 1:7th, would look really Scale! Just a thought....

I'm a big fan of the AR60 Axles myself. I've only got ONE running Rig for now (I'm poor), and it's a Wraith. Very capable and very strong Axles!
