Started working on a building that I'm thinking I'll make to look like an old mining cabin. It's been raining a lot so this is a good garage project.

Just using short brad nails and wood glue for the frame with some 3/8ths poplar.

Still tinkering away on the cabin structure.

I decided I need to make a miniature gnome home/fairy house to include for my daughter so I came up with this.

I've also been working on this section that will wind back up and meet the rally section. I'm using small pine logs that have already been weathered to look like fallen trees across the trail.

I worked all weekend on this section. It was a lot of labor but I enjoyed it and I'm pretty happy with the results. Just got to get some grass to grow on the turn surrounds. The soil - cement mixture (i tilled a 100 pound bag of portland cement into the soil i used on the track) seems to have set up pretty firm. I'll have to see how it holds up to the rain and if it helps resist wash outs.

Updated photos. Everything is growing in nicely. Rally section is a blast to drive on.

I made a narrow stone "road" that connects my driveway to the trail area.

Sweeping turn under the trees is one of my favorite sections on the rally course. I like the way it looks under the trees.

Small jump I added to the rally course. Here's my Tamiya XV-01 testing it out.
