Okey, it's time update Ural log truck build.

Front bumber ready, need some adjustments. And maybe crane support?

    Under hood plates, for electronics.

Doll house hinges from eBay, and last filling on body.

I'm kinda budget builder, so i mix wood in this build.

Black base coat on interior and bumpers

Seat and gear sifter, need adjustment.

    Ladders for climbing on cabin

    Spare tire holder

Paint job on cabin. I have this rust effect spray, so i wanted different shades of brown under the rust effect. (my first blues song is going to be called "shades of brown" )

    Rust coat:

Color match! Just like mother Russians blue sky

First time salt technique, little nervous how it goes...

... It went ok, i guess. Not too much rust.

That's it for now this mega update. Still lot of work to get this build done.

Finally winter came and the building season started. Now I'm gonna squeeze this up for the summer. I also bought my own 3d printer, so Ural is progressing a little faster when I can create the parts myself. Now to the point.

    Windshield and windows.

    And heart of Ural.

First real own design... but looked advice on Cross RC UC8 Wheel hub, but that isn't stealing?

    Trailer wheel hub

3d printed fuel tank and air tanks.

    Head lights and signal lights.

Soon i will post more progress of this build.

Trailer was an idea to build like in the game "medium log trailer". Added few features in it.

printed axles, M4 rod inside and bearings.

    Aluminium trailer frame

An empty trailer can be turned on a truck bed.

The length of the trailer can be adjusted easily.

I made logs last summer to dry and lighter. Now it has come to run test drives on the floor to see how logs behave on a truck ride.

At the same time, I have modeled the toy timber truck cranes. The crane will only become a decoration, but still a moving one.

    Thanks.

Lot's of 3d printing going on and modelling. Back & forth on printing and design and again.

Cranes first joint must 360deg turnable. And it takes all crane weight.

It's so rewarding to stop and play with a toy that you created.. (Click the pic)

Wire for secure the log load

Some crane painting and Crane support on the front bumber.

Now this build is on real time. At time working on log grappler (is this right word? The claw that grap logs )

Looks very nice, like the log trailer :)

Curious, where did you buy the tires? They look really good on the truck :)

Hi. Thanks. I bought tires on Ebay. https://tinyurl.com/y48k4b2x Tires Outer diameter is 108mm , RC4WD 1.9 Flashpoint tires OD is 104. So i wanted little bit bigger tires than flashpoint.
