    Default Unimog 416 doka

Here is my current project, i want to build a double cab Unimog 416. For that i will use the mst cfx-w and 2 bodies i bought from Loopsmodel.

I want something like that :

    Here is the electro stuff

I chose 1.9 rc4wd mud basher and gmade sr03 wheels.

As i find the tires a bit too narrow i used a swimming board to have new foams and wider wheels :

Gain is 5mm per tire :

The two pieces are now glued together, i used 2mm styrene and a very strong glue to prevent the eventual roll overs

Hey awesome progress! You didn't mention paint, so if you're looking to replicate the color in your reference photos, that color is called "DB 6277 LKW Grün." It's available on the 'Bay where it's called "2K Professional spray can Mercedes LKW DB-6277 Standard green Single coat paint." EAN 4055061577356.

Also worth noting is that the paint comes with a hardener, which is released when you punch the base of the can. Plan your painting, and use it in one go, because it hardens in the can after ~24 hours and becomes completely unusable gloop.

1K is without the hardener. Thanks, I didn't know they did a 1K version of it Which one to use is up to you really - the 2K version is more difficult to scratch, and will dry faster.
