Default SBG Pro-Line AMBUSH Build Off!

The SBG is SUPER excited to announce our next build-off! In conjunction with Pro-Line and the release of their micro scale truck, the 1/25th scale Ambush, we're announcing the SBG Pro-Line AMBUSH Build-Off!

The AMBUSH is an all-new platform from Pro-Line and is definitely the right size for indoor or outdoor fun! Check out their video:

Here's the specs for those already looking at swapping bodies:

    Length: 7.80" [198mm]
    Width: 3.75" [95mm]
    Wheelbase 4.52" [115mm]
    Weight: 0.68lbs. [308g]

With true leaf-sprung suspension, three speed modes, and a ladder frame metal chassis, Pro-Line really went for realism here and I'm super-excited to participate in this build-off. I need something fun to do during the winter!

As an added bonus for the members of the SBG, Pro-Line is offering a discount code for their online store! Use this discount code at checkout to receive an automatic 10% discount! This is exclusive to the SBG and applies to all their in-stock products. Be sure to take advantage! Code: SBG10

    Buy your Ambush here: https://www.prolineracing.com/ambush4x4

    The rules:

    • Four months build time, end date being February 4th. Gives you plenty of time!
    • Chassis, axles and transmission must be used.
    • Body swaps HIGHLY encouraged.
    • No limitations on materials used.
    • Chassis may be linked if you're so inclined.
    • MUST be your OWN BUILD, pictures to verify.
    • Must be a working model. Video and photos required as proof.
    • Creativity and originality will be rewarded.
    • Each entry must have "Pro-Line AMBUSH BUILD-OFF" in the thread's title. Please post your link in this thread.

This Build-Off is open to all Supporting/VIP and Vendor level members. Really stoked to start this one!

Mine's on the way too! I'm really pumped about this one. It'll be fun to take something this small to a level we usually reserve for much larger models. The glut of 24th scale accessories should make this for a challenging and fun build-off!

Working on getting mine soon. Methinks an indoor micro Smiggin's Folly is needed for this.

If I was a supporting member I would make a RC Land Cruiser for my RC Land Cruiser... Can't wait to see what others are going to make from this cool little car....

It's true, supporting members are the coolest. The more stars you have under your name the cooler you are.

    Just ordered my Ambush!
