Cheers folks, wheel/tire combo is now not going to be used as I have slightly changed the direction of the build

The shell is one of the limited edition chrome finish ones so, yes it is chrome on the inside and outside. Although not for much longer. It is approx 1/12th scale.

    Yeah not far off

Soooooo, I wasn't feeling the whole 4x4 thing so I am going to go for a more hot-rod type build, along the lines of this from Chip Foose

have ordered some new wheels/tyres more appropriate for the new direction, I have also raided a Revell Mustang kit for a few parts

Tonight's playing about resulted in this

With a bit of weathering these should look pretty good

Also from the Revell kit I have a few other bits to dress up the engine and the underside once I get that far.

    More soon.

KILLER....great idea, love that Foose build. In fact Chip didn't build it, his Dad did...very cool story. More please! Oh and the scale parts look right at home, love that Cobra engine shot.

Are you keeping it 4x4? Otherwise it doesn't fit in the build off guidelines.

I was at Foose's shop in California and saw the truck in person very cool. Looks to be a great build.
