Like how your rear "window seals" turned out. Nice clean work!

    Thankyou!

    ---------------------------------------

Progress made in the way of paint. Still gotta do the window seals.

I was having this conversation just the other day...I don't think I've ever seen this version of the Landy in any other colour other than white around my local area. So why break tradition?!!!

I'm pretty happy with that join!

Well done for sure. I love the padlock. Looks spot on.

    Styrene will fix anything.

It's seamless! Perfect work with the roof, too. Your rc-garage looks very much like real one (since its messy like the real ones! )

    Thankyou guys.

Have started doing some weathering. I am taking it real easy as i don't want to overdo it against the white.

So far I've used an earth wash from Games Workshop called Agrax Earthshade and a purchased pre-mixed blackwash.

I totally botched up the windscreen in more ways than one! So will be ordering another one and not much more weathering will be done until I get it. i don't want to get a mismatch! How embarresment!

    This turned out nice though....

I followed RMD's tutorial here by using watered down acrylics.

Fantastic plastic/body work. The detail and time put in really shows.

    Lovely Shannon!

I'm a firm believer in Agrax Earthshade as well. Used sparingly, it's pretty darn amazing stuff. Games Workshop paints really are awesome.

Thanks. Yes, the time has paid off. No need to rush!

Thanks Matt. When I first heard of Agrax Earthshade, I heard an American say it and with his accent, I thought it was called "Egg Racks Earthshade"! I thought "Hmmm...funny name....oh well!" and then got a slightly embarrassing surprise when I looked for it in the shop!

So nice of you to say some nice things!

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Some more progress.

Apart from a couple of practice runs on some scrap, this is my first time soldering brass. Feeling quite pleased with myself I am!

Needs a bit of clean up, but overall, not bad!

And another peek at the final goal...
