    Default Creepy Uncle Albert's Garage

I needed a new backdrop to take Creepy Uncle Albert photos for his Facebook page. I had half a sheet of 3/4" MDF in my garage doing nothing so I put it to good use. I ran it through the table saw, drilled a few holes and screwed the pieces together.

    Overall dimensions are as follows:
    Base is 18"x24"
    Walls are 14" tall

My idea is to model this as a cutaway section of a regular two car garage. My real garage will be providing a lot of inspiration. A lot of scale garage dioramas are too large for my liking. I want this to be a cramped space that shows a lot of detail elements in each photograph. Also, the size I have chosen will make it easy to transport and store.

When the garage is not in use it will be a fully sealed unit with a clear plastic front to keep kitties and dust out. Or in. Still undecided.

Could be worse, it could be occupied by a 3 foot Iguana!

I think you should build a realistic/scale garage for cat or cats!

I started carving the blocks for the walls. Just clamped a straight edge to the board and drove my carving bit down the line.

Not to mention most tedious! A lot of fun though.
