Default New shocks for Tamiya Fast Attack Vehicle

    Hello freaks,

I'm looking for some new shocks for my Tamyia FAV. Whats your opinion? Which ones are best? Good looks and function needed! All suggestions welcome. Thanks for your help!

I used RC4WD scale shocks on a couple of my FAV builds. They work great up front. 60mm & 80mm depending on your shock towers. At the rear you need to double up on them or modify them to add much stiffer springs.

Thanks, guys for your help. To "double up" means to use two rear shocks on each side? Regards Jens

Yes, exactly. Easy to fabricate simple plates to mount both shocks to.

I also used the rc-channel shocks already (for the UMOG) ...
Together with the little higher weight, they work very smooth.
    Like them very much ...

Hello guys and thank you once more for your support,

using Gmade Piggy-Back shocks with my big sandrail I was surprised how great they perform. I decided to give them a try in my All-day-use-I-love-it-and-bash-it-till-we-both-die-FAV. Here are some photos how they look. Combined with some soft springs they work great in the FAV, too.

Used a crossbar to stiffen the shocks a bit. Looks some kind of uncommon but works fine under rougher conditions.

    Rear looks fine, too.

As a whole the shocks look a bit oversized but scale issues are not that urgend here; its just a Fast-Fun-Vehicle.
Performance is much better than before.

    Thanks for watching.
    Regards Jens
