5 inches of rain in a matter of a few hours leads to a flooded Smiggy and a wet basement. We're drying out now and work will continue shortly.
Oh no, that's not good at all. Hope all is well with the house.

Yikes! I think that is supposed to hit us tonight & tomorrow. I'm going home early to work on the grounds before it hits.

RC boats... they could be in your future.

I'd eventually like to get a boat. I reckon I'd need a fake lake though.

My backyard isn't high or low it's just flat with the occasional low spot. My next project is to fill in the low spots in the yard and devise some kind of drain to the rear of the property.

So I think we are finally starting to dry out over here. While the dirt was still wet the other day I built up where the bridge is going to be. It took me back to the days when I rode BMX and built dirt jumps. It does kinda look like double. Maybe I could get imthatguy to hold my beer while I jump my FJ55 across it.

Smiggin's Canyon is starting to take shape too. My plan is to plant a few little pine trees on the cliffs and let nature take its course. It should be a fun little trench to drive through when complete.

I finished transplanting the rest of the trees from my old garden. It looks like the one guy might not make it but that's ok, real forests have dead trees too.

The view from the other side into the sun because I am a good photographer.

Here's a top tip from Smiggy himself. Dump dirt and rocks at random for a natural looking mountainside. Every day I take a few buckets of dirt/rocks from work and dump them on the pile. The rocks do their own thing and I think it looks great.

You can tell alot about a person by how they stack rocks. And that's top notch rock stacking
