    Default Delux scale garage.

I've wanted a better way to photograph my builds for a while, the awesome garage builds on here had me inspired and a while back I made a start on my own version!
You've probably seen it in a few builds already, mostly as a raw box..

I've decided to actually get on with it and try to get the bones at least sorted sooner rather than later. Then I can get on the the fun part, the detailing!

So I'll backtrack a bit and show you all a few pics of the progress so far...

From the start I wanted to go with a warehouse conversion look so bricks and concrete were to go.. I used 80 grit sandpaper along the bottoms of the walls to simulate rough cast concrete and timber lengths to simulate concrete trim and pillars..

At this stage I decided to relocate the garage to the workbench, this gave me a bit more depth to play with. I'd been noticing that it was hard to keep the front edge out of photos unless the rig was hard against the back wall..

Soooo I decided to add 100mm to the front edge and one side wall. I tested this out and it made a world of difference when taking pics!

Willy really put his back into this one!

A suitably crusty looking old door.

    And some weathered old windows..

It was nice to start getting some colour on it!

Time for Willy to get bricking!

    Checking his work..

I decided to remove the room for now and remake it in a slightly different style..

That does look very good. I wish space wasn't at such a premium in my workshop. My mini-workshop just isn't big enough for pics.
