Your'all praise, is what fuels me to take my time, and make the parts really nice.

    Thanx.

GRU & winch showed up today.

I'll put them in when some free time permits. The GRU will go somthing like so:

I wish they made the center section outta steel. Coulda just brazed some legs to it, then braze it to the rails.

For the winch; should I use the stock controller, or just get the Heyok one?

Got the new parts bolted in. Still gotta Dremel the clamp-bolt on the GRU mount (forgot cut-off wheel at work). Winch just bolted right in; although, it's housing needed some cleaning-up to sit level.

    I'm waiting for the Split-Skid, before I braze the GRU / transfer-case drive-shaft

A big-ass Hitec servo is next to get, and tonight I'm mess'n with the body some more:

Very nice work man. I'd get one from HeyOK. Better control and cheap to buy. Keep up the great build man!

    Thanx Guys.

    Heyok it is...

Of the few ideas I had for it, this was the easiest one to do. I hope when the split-skid is in, that the drive-shaft angle isn't too steep. I'd have to re-braze, and angle the mount a bit.

One thing i have on my mind is the GRU bushings. Wonder how long they'll last?...I'm thinking of saving for a Crawlmaster pro 16-turn to put in it, and I'm expecting it to chew-up anything weak.

Yes, that will probally have to be done in time. Gears look thin too. I thought that they would be pinion thickness. I could see modded pinions and shafts in the future...

Thanx; and yes, it will be a variant of of the FJ40.

I wish I had the time this week to work on it, but the dam work-busy-ness I wanted showed up.
