So stoked all my new body parts are in for my drifter.
After the attempt at the EvoX a few weeks back I really liked the color (well almost) but it just wasn't working for me. My favorite drifter so far was the Rancid Kiwi build (AE86) from last year, decided to do another. Looking for parts on HPI's site, this image has always scooped me, I'm doing a very similar scheme for this build....the grey and yellow one

well i guess I just have to take over this thread..since I bought this beauty..LOL...got a light kit and a racing interior with the 2 guys with helmets and harnesses..pretty stoked...also got my hands on a Lexus IS300 ..its sick looking using that as the basher body to keep the Levin mint. Also think about drilling a hole in the bumper for a ricer exhaust...but iffy on that yet.

pics to come. of the light kit and interior paint etc...

Still waiting on my pico switch but I did get the interior painted up ..looks pretty cool...heres a few pics of it..its sitting on my outdoors rims n tires right now...put carpet specs on the chromies...also like I said here my basher body for on the bizy indoor track...a gunmetal grey Lexus IS300.
if you wondering about that sick Lancia in the background see the rally section..lol..
cheers.

Cool man! Right now at my spring break job at A&A Performance Chassis, were building a rollcage for a Toyota ae86. It's going to be a drift car just like this one. Cool looking ride koomz!

Ive always loved the ae86's. Sure the motor makes less hp than my grandmas toyota van but if you throw a turbo on em they sure do fly!:drooler: I need to get a body like that for my drifter.:drooler:

Nice, glad to see you're still enjoying the ride!
If you paint the back side of the LEDs black you wont get that back light effect from them

there's 2 possibly even 3 different sets of Levin lightcups by Yokomo

or did OP just poke LEDs into the RunFree kit's lexan buckets?
