How/ where can you hide the antenna on a highlift F350? I see many trucks in these posts that I can't see the antenna. Can you just leave it coiled up in under the cab? Thank you,

Chris

Most of the times you see no antena guys are running DSM Radios...then you can leave them coiled. For running FM stuff you can run the antena tube parallel with the inside of the body.

Most people run DSM radio's and the antenna is only about 1-2 inches long but coiling should be ok as long as you don't get to far away from the truck.

if your antenna is long you cvan take a peice of caedboard and wrap it around the cardboasrd spacing each wrap 1/8th inch appart
kinda like this 1 x 3 inches or what ever you need

some times it helps to knotch the cardboard to maintain the coils
this will compact the antenna and maintain 80% range
if you need i will post a picture

Good Question.

I have mine wrapped around an aluminum cross bar on my AX10.
It is a crawler and i'm never to far from it.

Will i fry my electronics by doing this?

It's an FM unit.
