i need to know about my tamiya esc...... when i plug my batt. in and hook all the rest up(reciever, servo, esc)
i turn the switch "on" on the bottom of the truck, the esc "beeps"....then there's a pause, and then it starts "beeping" on and off constatnly and 2 lights flash....also the servo doesnt do anything............is this cuz my battery is too low?.....or is it a different problem?......

sounds like you may have to rebind it the stock esc that came with my pajero i had to do it a few times till i found out that i had the servo and esc plug backwards but it was making the same sounds and led flashes. so that might be the problem

Confirm the behavior of the ESC with the manual. The most widely used Tamiya ESC is the TEU-101BK, the successor is the TEU-104BK, which has the LiPo cut-off. Boring about both is the fact, that they DO NOT have stabilized BEC, so full voltage of battery always goes to the RX and other via RX connected stuff.

I had this same problem, I used a Tamiya teu-101bk and It did the same thing yours did. All you need to do is plug in the throttle and servo like normal, and then plug in the little jst connector into the battery section of your reciever. Heres a pic to help you out!
