Alright, since I gave up on my XXX-S before I started I still have the need for a rally car. My RC18R niteline is fine but I am using it more for a drifter than anything right now.

So I was hankerin for a rally car yet something thats not a subaru or lancer... I also wanted something that I could do a little bit of scale work to... perhaps an interior and such one day.

Its a Tamiya M-03 Mini Cooper FWD car.

I reckon with a few mods like good shocks and tires I could have a neat little scale-ish, fun, and different rally ride. I dont plan on beating this thing on doubles or anything but more some gravel roads and for camping use.

heres some pics I found of an rtr (I dig the rtr body accesories), and a nice little modded one

These things seem cheap at PM Hobby in Calgary... $129.99 for the kit on there website. It has some friction shocks and what not but stuff is easy to order/retrofit lol

What do you guys think

I ran one of these as a rally car.

It worked fantastic. For clearance issues, I put in touring car shocks from a TT-01, which will help jack the ride up at least an extra inch in travel.
