View Full Version : Installing LEDs in the new bright JK

Hey guys wanting to get a light kit for my build was looking at my newbright body can someone show me pics of how they did it do I drill behind the lights thanks.

Not sure how well you can see the picture, but all I did was drill a hole in the back of the housings front and rear, and slowly made the hole bigger until the LED slid in kind of snug, then I put some hot glue on them to hold them in place, my LED controller sits next to the dash, it will also fit in front of it too

I used a lexan body reamer. Worked like a charm.

I had cut some worn out rod ends and used the straight parts of em (where screw is screwed in) to make mounting holes that were simply glued onto body for the LED and just made sure they were drilled out to proper width of LED. It made the LED's resistant and nice and clean.
