Removing Glued Tires

I've been wondering this alot lately, because I want to remove my stock Ripsaws to finish cutting them and to clean and repaint the rims, I read that acetone works but it will eat the rim and tire, I also read that boiling them will remove the glue, has anyone done this and what would be the best way?

I've done the boil thing many times with great success.I use an old camping pot.

Now when I put them in, do I just dip little by little and work my way around?
