    Default Kentucky Copper Pot Still

Sorry for the picture dump. I wanted to share while I was in the process of building this but I was hoping with my scratch built trailer, chainsaw and still I might take away the award for best scale accessory at the GCM Adventure run at Blackfoot RC over the past weekend. Sadly I did not but there is always next year. Anyhow still worth sharing I believe.
I found the design on the net, printed it out and headed over to good old Staples business centre to have it sized correctly at 1:9 scale. Then off to Metal Supermarkets for a sheet of copper; yes it is made from hand formed sheet copper which really wasn't too difficult. Soldering on the other hand was extremely difficult even with a jewellers torch.

The finished product turned out quite well in my opinion. I have ordered some scale bricks from Miniature Building Materials to make a base for it to sit. Next i will source out a flickering circuit to make a scale fire underneath. I plan to construct a trail side diorama for Blackfoot RC cause it may as well be somewhere everyone can enjoy it rather than just sitting on a shelf in my shop.

I will update with more pics when I get around to finishing up the diorama!

    That is so cool!

Great craftsmanship too, just a shame you can't get any scale bourbon out of it!

Thank you. Probably could get bourbon out of it but it would take a long time to get even a single shot!
