Thanks! The good folks at GCM Racing know what they're doing.

Yay! I saw a picture of a 1:1 restomod Bronco that was in a similar color and knew immediately that's the way I was going.

Thanks! I'm pretty happy with the stance and overall look. It's been a fun build.

I got the li'l Bronco out on the trails for a shakedown mile. My, my, my... it's fun! I'm not really surprised. Just happy.

How capable are the MST CFX trucks? Any others you'd care to compare it to?
    Cheers eh!

I've only had it out on a couple of short runs (~1 mile each), but I was happy with how well sorted the chassis was for the type of trails I typically go out on. Body movements are well controlled. The transmission is smooth. Side hilling needs a delicate touch with that high motor (I think the CMX might have an advantage there, with the CFX maybe having an edge with hill climbs, but I haven't driven the mid motor version). The big soft lugs and soft foams of the MT/Rs certainly contributed to the mild tippy-ness. The short wheelbase makes it pretty maneuverable. Small skid minimizes high centering.

So yeah, first impressions are positive. I'm really happy.

    Compared to other rigs?

It's far more capable than the similarly sized CC-01. CC-01 probably has a lower COG (and the IFS if that's what you're looking for). Just about every other comparison would likely go in favor of the MST.

It seems more solid, powerful and well sorted than the Barrage (out of the box, anyway). Larger pumpkins, though.

I don't have a TF2 to compare it to. If someone wants to send me one I'd be happy to provide a comparison :)

Bonus photos from the first trail run...

I decided to throw some more challenging terrain at Alan and Bucky because that sort of thing makes me happy. I'm still finding the limits with this tiny truck, but I've been impressed with its performance so far.

    I'm officially jealous!!
I haven't been able to get a new Rig in over 2 years. I saw that smoking deal at A-Main, but I couldn't even come up with that much.... One of two Rigs I've really wanted.... The MST CFX and CFX-W.
I've got the CC-01 Landfreeder, that these Bodies are "borrowed" from. Lost cause is all I have, describing that Truck.

I also love the 1st Gen Broncos. Mt first car was a 74 Bronco. 302, 4-speed... FAST!! So this really triggered a nerve. A good one though.
I'm just hoping i can get one, before they go out of production. It can happen...

You did a fantastic job!! Love the color, the Interior is very clever, the CMS looks MUCH better than I imagined! I've never seen one installed...
And the GCM 1.55s... that just puts it over the top!!
    Congratulations on a great job!

Thanks! I'm very happy with the way this one came out (so far, I still need to figure out a rear bumper). The CMS works surprisingly well for such a simple change. What can you say about the GCM wheels? They make awesome stuff.
