Absolutely awesome work dude. I love KE's and I love ITB SR's. I need to stay away from these threads though I have my hands full enough with offroad builds

    p.s. I have a 1:1 AE86!

Got mad skills! Love the time and effort you are putting into this! These small bits are very time consuming, the outcome is awesome!

Thank you guys for the kind words.

Started on an alternator. Granted its not the correct style for the SR, it sure was less difficult to make than what it looks like normally. I do remember that somebody making something similar years ago on some forum but I couldnt find it. The guy was amazing. I tried to make it as best I could from memory. Thats how good it was.. Unfortunately mine turned out looking like a starter motor

Also had to go back and cut throttle body off due to the fact that I forgot to make injectors.
Dont mind the super crooked trumpets, just mounted via tape.

Thanks fellas. Appreciate the kind words.

    Update

Engine is dunzo as far as the block goes. I just need to start plumbing everything and the wiring. Clear coat as well.
Now I dont have an airbrush so I had to paint the primer and chrome on. I think it came out pretty decent. Also, had to slice the exhaust up into a couple of pieces to get the welded look I was going for. Apparently if you press the joints together when plastic welding, it starts to come over the seem which is amazing, then I just used a couple of colors to get the temperature variants as you would get from real welding.

Also started on steering wheel and dash. Granted they are simple, trying to get a perfectly good round custom styrene wheel is anything but..

My goal with the switches is to have all the lights to work off of them with a separate power source but part of the body. I hate having to connect to the chassis for a lead.

    Mockup. Def still needs work.

    I'm still in AWE goat..

I'm a huge fan of details.

You my friend have a great eye for the looks and function of things.

Then you go and translate them into scale...

and I super appreciate the time into all the littles.

Keep the workings coming..I'm eating this all up.
