Thread: Cheapest polycarbonate spray?

    Default Cheapest polycarbonate spray?

I donít suppose there's a little known brand of polycarbonate plastic spray that comes in huge cans and is absurdly inexpensive that you all know off but are reluctant to let the larger world know all about? £6 per 100ml is steep for Tamiya paints and wondered if you had found something cheaper than champagne. Thanks.

Duratrax makes Polycarb spray, but other than that I think you'll be looking at Parma PSE for airbrush applications.

It's one of those specialised hobby things so unfortunately the few manufacturers that make it have us all over a barrel as far as prices go..

Here in Europe we have some other brands, such as Dupli-Color, Pactra, LRP Magic Colour, that are (mostly) cheaper than Tamiya colours.
But I also found a big price difference between different vendors in those colours.
Do not know, if you can get those brands also on the other side of the pond?
Revell is not cheaper, Tamiya colours are cheap at local warehouse of Hobbyking EU.

Anyway, rather expensive stuff... (I use airbrush mostly, cheaper, but also sometimes quite expensive).
