I got the oxides out and dyed the latest blob. Then of course it rained so I had to hide it under a wheelbarrow until the oxide dyes dried!

Today was the inaugural crawl on the blob day! Many smiles were had and wheels were cocked..

Ben is wondering what on earth is going on down here...

I've got some more native tasmanian ground covers ready to go in..

Excellent work! I️ am jealous of your truck.... and your scale playground. This will serve as some great inspiration come spring time.

No need to be jealous! I'm pretty sure my neighbours think I'm bonkers but every toy trucker needs a toy garden!

More blobs, this time a bit of a v-notch type thingy with a blob at the top. You can see in these pics how I've been working the blobs as they dry..

When you dye the cement do you use powdered pigments with water and wash it on???? Does it require sealer??

Bigger question for me, are you leaving room for shrubs and earth among the rocks you’re making?

Yep, oxide powders mixed in water then "painted" on. I haven't sealed them yet, they've held up to plenty of rain etc so far but I will seal them soon.

There's still plenty of room for trees and dirt and stuff.
