    So about that driveshaft. What's round, solid aluminum, and comes in metric sizes? Knitting needles!

    Tada. Bonus: it's aluminum, so it's kinda like a lightweight hop-up.

    Just kidding. There are a few more curves to it than that. Not many, but a few. (One of these days, I might actually build something that isn't basically a box with rounded-off corners. But not this year.)

    I'm happy with the proportions of it. Tall and boxy, like it ought to be.

    Spent about an hour with this thing tonight making dust...





    It's funny; I always thought of this car as a collection of straight lines, but it's not. It's a collection of almost straight lines. It's actually, the more I study it, a really elegant shape. The Italians do know how to make things pretty, that's for sure. Even little economy cars. I just hope I can get it right...
