Default Chevy 1500 W/T on a CMAXX (SAS)

My thought here is just a nice and easy C1 build, just something practical. Anyway, at least its not another jeep?

This is the idea, except ya know with solid axles and bigger tires

I used to drive one of these every day when I landscaped back in college. I remember it being painfully underpowered, and the dash was pure 80's futuristic excellence!

    Watching this for sure...

Not a Jeep is always the best choice. Grille looks great already.

Thanks man, it was actually going to be a tahoe but I just did not want to deal with suv battery changes - so truck with a cap!

I drove one of these early in my driving career too - 4.3 v6 haha!

Ok so weird update here but bear with me. Im building this one inside out, like an airplane. My goal in doing this is keeping the weight down. Im under no illusions here, it wont be light compared to lexan or even some molded bodies but it will be light for what it is. So ribs, skinned with something real light like .030 etc - and hey why not swiss cheese the ribs for even more weight savings? So I made a brick of ribs and got busy.

Nope, it was a 4wd with a v6. It also had a stock bed that hydraulically dumped. An odd duck. Once you put anything in the bed, even mulch, it couldn't drive up a hill...
