    Oh it's update time!!

The last two weeks were full of fun steps in the build. The printer is behaving and we're popping out parts every day. Lexan panels for the box are up next, the painstaking process of sanding, filling and prep for painting begins. I've got a ton of work ahead of me, unfortunately it's the boring part but it has to be done.

The roof and right side door panel both turned out pretty decent! Tapped all the holes and assembled the whole thing temporarily. Still have lots of work on the interior to do.

Battery trays also came out very nice, going to run 2 packs for low and evenly distributed weight. The lower skirts are printed out of bridge material, so they are flexible!

ESC mount that rotates for show purposes. RX4 power!

Aaaaaand this was totally shot from the hip, but decided the side panels needed to open for access/showing off of what powers the beast.

Complete with latch system to hold it all in place!

And the final huge accomplishment, the rear area. This part took about 19 hours and finishes off the back end of the truck, with room for 2 full size spares.

Slow going (sorta) on the DAKAR build, but it's getting there! Got panels mocked up, not too bad and didn't cut myself!

Also the roof scoop came out pretty nice and it will be functional.

Wrap is being worked on now, truck is disassembled for paint and the boring body work part. Hope to post more updates soon with it fully painted and reassembled! Mad flecks shot for gigs.

What type of ali have you used for the chassis/frame?

    Looking forward to more!

Making more progress! Frame is all painted, pretty and assembled again. Servo is in, motor is in, ESC mounted and ready for all the wiring to start.

Just about everything is painted and ready for the wrap, cab semi-assembled, seats and sound module will be showing up soon and I can get started on the interior! Inching ever closer to having a running truck!
