Very impressive! Love this thing. I wonder if your tension issues are from having the front cogs doing the driving... I don't have these issues on the half track, as the drive cog is in the rear.

    Thanks guys!

I put the traction wheels at front to copy the 1:1 Fortunately, there's also more space there for the gearboxes. I assumed that it should work this way, like the big one. I think that my tracks are very light and that allows to be straight under tension. I'll try some adjustments to make it work. By the way, imthatguy, your halftrack have a working tension wheel or is fixed position?

    Forgot to reply to this.

    Thanks again.

In this particular trail run, we drove(play?) for about 20m. Was intended as a quick test. Perks of having the trails 2m away from home. Invited a friend, ex-military, to drive a bit and was so impressed that made an offer to buy it :)

Today, i was in the mood of fixing the Browning. Added the ammo box cradle, a mount to allow the rotation of the M2 and the small bits i haven't glued yet

By the way, i think i haven't mentioned yet but the 3d model of the Browning was gently provided by Iceman, gracias!

I'll take photos when everything's painted but here's a small video

Amazing thread, great journey from the beginning where you seem a bit unsure of your skills to this incredible result at the end- stunning!

You're right about I was unsure of my skills. Everything was new territory for me,even stepped up my 3d modeling skills to do the wheels. Honestly, only when it moved on the floor for the first time, I knew that it will not be a static model for the shelf.

But it's not done yet. Needs lights, details and weathering

By the way, I'll leave this crappy photo of the m548 next to the Unimog. Both real 1/10 but seem different scales
