    thank you guys.

after a few crazy weekends. I finally got a chance to get this pretty much buttoned up.

Interior all finished just before roof goes on permanently. even has an axial air freshener.

wipers I had to make myself. I could not find any in the parts bin that fir the bill.

hard to see inside grille but I did make a zip tie radiator so the servo did not show.

some tailgate chains and a club license plate.

a few scale goodies to help hide wiring.

I made some plates to mount battery and electrics to. Tried to keep wiring as tidy as possible.

    now for the test run.

The first drive was a success. Managed to get a few shots in the play area above my house. My usual beach rocky areas are all under water this year.

I am so happy with how well this rig turned out. it drives very well. climbs and crawls very well. I have to fine tune the steering a bit, but that is just some adjusting. I cant tell you how much joy something like the tailgate chains swinging as it drives along gives me. I hope you all enjoy the pics. will get a video going as soon as I get a chance.

I'll admit, I wasn't sold on the color initially, but seeing it in the sun with just the right amount of weathering has completely turned me around!. Looks amazing!

This is really nice, man. Be proud of this build. Even better that you're really happy with the wheel ability, because it will inevitably see more trail dust if you like the driving. Great stuff here!
