Yeah not sure I made the wisest choice there. It was fun in the beginning, but those curves are becoming a drag. Oh well, I'm almost through the worst of it.

Yes, it's driving me nuts Still going strong on the glue. Used one bottle up, about through the second, and have three on standby...

Been VERY enjoyable to watch it come to life.
    Totally awe inspiring.
    Cute lil bugger.
It's growing on me too, now that it has a bed

Got the second skin on the rear fender, and extended the bed. Those bars are interchangeable - this is the pig pen. Also doing the wooden panels in the first pic on this thread.

Thanks And if it weren't for radio controlled trucks there would be 6 monitors. I write software in my other spare time.

Hey it's not that good, just... different Thanks though

Got both back fenders done, but haven't cut the wheel openings to size yet. Need to play around with bed height behind the fenders to get a good line. And so I started on the seat. As with most of this truck it's nigh on impossible to work out what's stock, and what isn't. I think what I have matches stock shape-wise, but the stiching pattern is closer to late '50s/early '60s.

One of those things that's remained stuck in my head - my dad had a '70 El Camino with a spring poking out of the bench seat, which he used to explain catalysis. Given girl + boy, a bench seat acts as a catalyst. If, as a dad, you want to avoid the inevitable, make sure there's a spring poking out.

    Too many pricks
