I'd hate to see the 1:1 version of that Dremel....

Also I'm suspicious about what goes on behind those blacked out windows...

Excellent fab / styrene work and engineering on the chassis/suspension. I think its time to go camping!

If the van is a rocking, don't come a knocking wink wink

And a camping I did go.

In the absence of the required 1.5mm socket, my mate Andrew had a brilliant idea.

I used a 2mm cap head nut with 2 nuts in a 4mm socket. The 2mm bolt uses a 1.5mm driver, so will also work as a makeshift socket for the 1.6mm scale bolts with the 1.5mm head.

That allowed me to continue assembly.

The tops of the windows were detailed with silver.

Next up was to add in the appropriate external hatches.

Decided on a place for a single maxtrax.

Added in some detail to the A/C box.

And lastly a jockey stand for when the van is static.

The next step is to get out on the trail.

    Cheers

As I said next step was to get the out on the trail.

And I got it on video too.

    Yarramundi Part 1

    Yarramundi Part 2

So now you can see just how much fun it is wheeling with this.

And some pics from my adventure.

And some pics of the details.

I hope you all enjoyed this build.

I certainly had fun out on the trails, so expect more video and photos in the future.

    Cheers
