It coming along really well! I can't wait to see what comes after "salvageable".

It will be a great accent to Smiggin's Folly. Too cool.

    Huge thanks wagon..

It would make a cute lil rod too I feel.

Working on a few pieces this morn..here's a small update.
Starting to come around for the shape and looks... chassis needs scaled down a bit but I'm getting an Idea.

Sick! Looks killer sitting in the mock up state with the HPI wheel and tire combo. You could market these body sets, would also make for an interesting build off. Say one body, build it any way you see fit? Stock, rat rod, street rod, salt flat/Bonneville racer (flying brick!), drag car/gasser (my personal choice) --- just say'in! Amazing skills!

Woah, wasn't expecting the hot rod! Cool! I am still hoping to see a driver with a newsboy hat put putting around a dirt road showing up those whipper snappers and their fancy four by fours.. Nice work!

I think this one can be saved..But I will be using it mostly for mock up and figuring out the remaining parts and shapes.
I used .60 styrene for the pulls... why I'm happy with the shapes and curves i feel it's just not very crispy looking.
So plans are to go forward with a static version and then re-do in .40 styrene. should come out a bit better..also the Bucks need a bit of refining and carved out to release the pulls easier... Always learning on each build..lol.
    Looks awesome so far!

if you want really crisp lines and still keep the thickness, you would need to make a negative copy of the sides you have done and draw the styrene into that. then the detail would be on the outsude.

Would be a sweet build off.
Not sure I would the vendor part though, and quality would be an issue to deal with.
Ya never know yet..I'm still toying with the idea of a 60 /to 1966 chevy vacuumed formed body for those interested.
This is just another step and learning experience to see what it would involve.
    Lots of work for sure...ahahahaha.

Wow.. way above my talents as of right now.. But you've got me thinking..ahahaha. Caster plast molds or something to them effects.
Hummm. cold a guy vacuum for a few layers of tin foil ..glue between layers..maybe three thick to simulate a metal based body ...... Food for thought...

Thanks masher. Keep the ideas coming..I eat that stuff up you know.

This would be a great one to mold and press metal into a real car..I've been considering copper foil and whether or not you can solder it..regardless,super sweet build!
